Invest in Quality

At Zipp Printing we’re big on quality. We believe that our customers truly want and need a high quality product at the end of the day. More than speed, more than cheap prices, quality is almost always what our customers demand. So what does that mean for us? It means we invest in equipment, training, and other businesses in order to provide a higher quality product and experience. Here are three things we’ve recently done to invest in quality.

  1. DiSC – Some of you may be familiar with the DiSC profile test. If you’re not, it’s simply a test that helps us reveal dominant characteristic traits. We do this so we can better communicate as a team and with our customers. It helps us put ourselves in the other person’s shoes and allows us to better portray empathy and understanding. We’re excited about what this will do for our customer service.
  2. Digital Printing – Digital printing is a huge part of our business. Most people don’t know, or care, about the difference between digital and offset printing. That’s ok. We recently purchased a new high-end digital printer that gives us more capacity, lower costs, higher resolution printing, faster printing, and a wider selection of stocks, like printing full color envelopes. In short, it’s a lot better for you.
  3. Cutting – Most people don’t realize that we print multiple copies of your design on one sheet and then cut it to size. This is efficient in both time and materials. That means our cutters are an integral part of our equipment list. Zipp had been using a cutter from the 80’s for a while until it died. So, we invested in a new higher quality cutter that allows us to be more efficient and accurate with cutting. Again, in short, it’s a lot better for you.

So, why should you care about how we’re investing in our business? Because, it means a better product and service for you. We’re in this for the long game. We hope that you’ll see that when we invest in quality, it’s a win for you and you’ll stick around as a customer and friend for a long time.
